Our dogs are located throughout the state of Ohio and parts of IN, MI, PA and KY.

Waylon is a handsome 3 year old male bloodhound who came to OBHR from a local area shelter where he was taken in as a stray.

Waylon is housebroken and knows the basic commands such as sit and stay.  He loves other dogs and is fine with all size doggie friends. He is GREAT at the dog park and gets along with everyone there.

Waylon is also fine around cats! He loves to go for walks and car rides and makes an excellent passenger. He is ok with both men and woman but seems to favor men more.

He needs a home with owners who are experienced with strong hounds and would also benefit from obedience classes with his new owners. He would do best in a home with either no other dogs or one other non alpha dog in the house. He is food aggressive and would need to be fed in a room by himself if there is another dog in the house. He is ok with treats but very protective of his food bowl. Because of his food aggression he will need a home with older children only. 

Waylon can NOT be crated. He is terrified of crates and will snap if crated. If Waylon's new owners plan on keeping him confined or apart from another dog while he learns their routine after adoption, it would be best if they plan on using a room he can be left in alone. 

Waylon is currently being kenneled near Columbus, OH.
