This beautiful little lady is Stella! She is a 6 year old female special needs basset in need of a new forever home. 

Stella was actually adopted out by OBHR in the past, and we always tell adopters if you cannot keep the dog for any reason we WILL take it back. Stella was diagnosed with Addison's disease for which she will need to take daily meds. Addison's is an adrenal disease and the meds help control her hormone levels. She gets daily meds and a monthly shot, and with them she is able to live a normal life. 

Stella is a real sweet heart! She is housebroken, good with other dogs, and good with cats! Stella loves to "talk" to you and tell you how she is doing! She is a great companion! 

She is a very pretty girl with a wavy coat and beautiful eyes! Her foster daddy also reports she has him wrapped around her digger paw and she likes scrambled eggs! 

Stella just needs a family that is willing to take her in knowing she will be on meds for life. That doesn't mean she doesn't have a lot of love to give, she has plenty of that, she just needs the right family to love! Please give this girl a chance!

She is currently being fostered near Ann Arbor, MI.
