Update!!!! Droopy is a male basset hound! He was accidentally entered as a female basset hound at first! He is all male!!!

Droopy is a super cute 3 year old male basset hound who is looking for a new home for the holidays!

Droopy was turned over to OBHR because he showed aggression towards his male owner. We believe that Droopy may have been abused by a man at some point in his life as he even needed to be muzzled for his vet exam. He will need a very patient family who is willing to work with him and help him over his insecurities and learn to trust again. Because of his issues Droopy will not be adopted out to a family with young children.

It's a little early but he already wrote a letter to Santa and asked him for a new family with a nice big fluffy dog bed and a bowl of his own! He wants someone to love him, rub his belly, take him on some nice walks and give him a home with a nice fenced in back yard so he can lay in the sun in the summer and sneak up on those pesky squirrels! Most importantly he needs someone who will love him and be nice to him!

Droopy is being kenneled at our vet in Columbus. He is currently being treated for a mild ear infection but can go to a new home at any time.  Are you that happy elf he is hoping will make his holiday wishes come true?
