11/8/14 Update from foster family

Summer Love is a very laid back girl.  Likes to lay around most of the day. She is housetrained and likes to be petted and loved on.  She is red and white and 5 years old. She would do well as on only dog or have one friend her size to play with. Does not seem to be interested in toys. She will run and play with the other dogs when the weather is sunny but usually only once a day. Summer would do well with older kids. She had severe cherry eye in both of her eyes so her eyes seem red but are fine. Her retinas were scratched due to the cherry eye and she will need over the counter eye drops but she gets around fine.

This is Summer Love! Summer Love recently came to OBHR with several other dogs rescued from a hoarding situation. 

Summer Love is a sweet 5 year old female basset. She had a rough start to life but now that summer has turned to autumn she wants everyone to know that she still has love to give! She can love to be buried in the leaves, love to lay in front of a crackling winter fire, love to smell to spring flowers and then love summer again! She is a dog for all seasons! Won't you make this season the one she finds a family to love? 

Summer Love will be getting some much needed vetting and will be needing a foster or forever home soon! Please check back! Once we get some updated info on this baby we will post it!
