Latest update from Dave's foster family!....

 He is doing really well, he no longer limps and is strong and heathy.  He has more energy than the ones younger than him.  He loves to play with toys or just steal my slippers off of my feet so I will chase him, his new favorite game!  He is a big cuddle bug and wants to be on your lap when he can. 

Update from his foster family....

He is a very happy guy and loves to tell stories! He is still very active for an old guy but will start to limp if he over does it. He loves car rides. Likes to walk but does get tired of it quickly. Would much rather just ride in the car! He seems to like all dogs so far. I don't know about cats or young kids yet. He is happy just following me around all day!

Folks meet THE DAVE! (he has become known not only as Dave, but as THE Dave!)

Dave is an older male basset who recently came to OBHR from a local area shelter. We do not know Dave's story but we want to give him a happily ever after ending by finding him a forever home!

Dave's needs are not many, food, family and love! He does good with other dogs but he has not been tested around cats or children. 

Do you have room for this gentle man to lay his head and call home? 

Dave is currently being fostered in Mentor, OH.
