Ladies and Gentlemen.....it gives me great pleasure to introduce to you...SIR DUKE! 

Sir Duke is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL 9 month old basset/hound mix. He was in a home that turned him in to a local shelter at 6 months old because he chewed. Yup you heard it here first folks, puppies chew!!!!

We were told that Sir Duke is a basset/beagle mix, but after meeting him I am skeptical of the beagle. There is some other hound in there for sure but he is tall, taller than a basset at 9 months old. If I had to guess it looks like blood or coon hound? 

The shelter we got him from put Duke thru a 3 month prison training program for general obedience and working on that "chewing" issue. He is said to be ok with cats and does get along with other dogs and children. We are also told he is housebroken!  

For a dog Duke's age another four legged companion would be great so he can have a friend to play with and burn off puppy energy! Sir Duke is very playful, loves to play fetch, and when put out with another younger dog they loved chasing and wrestling each other. Sir Duke will need a fenced yard, as do all of our younger dogs. 

Sir Duke is currently being kenneled so if you are a foster who would love to have a puppy to play with while he waits for that forever home give us a call!
