5/27/14 ***Dudley needs a foster home*****

 

Dudley has a very friendly, playful and loving personality. He is a cuddle bug and will quite happily sit on your lap for as long as you let him.  He loves napping on the couch, or a bean bag, or anything cushy.  He is great with children, is very playful with them, and does well with other dogs.  He did have bowel surgery when he was 7 months old (intussusception of the intestine - where it turns in on itself), but has had no problems since. The vet said there is no reason to believe this will be an issue in the future.  His new owner will just need to be aware and take precautions if he is straining really hard during a bowel movement.  He would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard, as he loves to run.  He does not like being in a harness (he chews them off), and he is crate trained - he actually bugs you to put him in his "beddy" at night.

 

He is an excellent dog and would be great in a family home. Dudley is 2 1/2 years old and was with OBHR as a puppy also.
