| I am beautiful, I am special-I am SAFFRON! Along with my old name, I have left behind that old life of squalor,hunger, & making babies! I am recovering from Heartworm treatment at the moment-in a few months I will be spayed & have my rotten teeth removed. Life is so good now & I am a happy girl! Good food makes me more beautiful every day! I have had only 1 accident in the house-not too bad for having lived outside my entire life. I like other dogs,cats,adults, & especially older children.(haven't been around the young ones yet!) Car rides & walks are great-I love to see where I am going! I have had some jealousy issues regarding food & attention but those are minimal & sure to resolve when I learn that I will always have food & love! For a little 35# girl I have a booming voice,& feel it is my duty to patrol the yard & comment on any activity from squirrels to joggers! I sleep in my crate at night,or when my foster mom is away. I am not a mischief maker-no issues with garbage,counter surfing,or chewing for me! If permitted I could easily learn to love sleeping on furniture but right now I have my very own dog bed & fluffy blanket!! I could be your snuggle bunny,no problem!! Our adoption fees for Basset Hounds under a year old are $250, Basset Hounds 1- 8 years old $200 and Basset Hounds eight years and older $100. |
