Molly is quiet five year old female who weighs about 35 lbs. Molly's former owner was an elderly woman who was removed from her home by the health department. Molly and three other dogs were all taken by the dog warden. She is timid when meeting a stranger but warms up after she sees that you mean her no harm. Molly is a funny little basset who looks like she has a permanent frown but don’t let that fool you; she is such a happy-go-lucky little girl. She loves to play so a playmate would be a plus. She loves to walk on a leash but is definitely a puller. Take her to the dog park and she is all over the place, greeting other dogs and humans - she is a true people person! Your lap is her favorite seat. Laying at the foot of your bed or up next to you is her favorite place to sleep. She keeps her human in sight at all times. The one flaw she has deals with food. She will try to butt in on the other dog’s food bowls, which can cause an uproar. Her foster mom feeds her separately from the other dogs.
