Deacon is a 3 yr old tri-color cutie who was rescued from a high kill shelter in Pike county. He is mostly black and white with a little bit of brown over his eyes. Deacon is very friendly, but shy when he first meets you. He is friendly with the other dogs and LOVES people attention. Deacon was very well behaved for his bath, nail trimming and ear cleaning. He has super big basset feet, long ears, and a droopy smile. Deacon has the twisted front legs bassets are known for, only one of his legs is a bit more twisted than the other. This doesn't slow him down at all, despite that he needs to shed a few pounds, which is amazing considering he was a stray. Deacon has just come into OBR's care and is still being evaluated.
