***Update! Sophie and Tucker have moved into a foster home in Galion, OH. Sophie's cherry eye has been taken care of and she and Tucker are ready for a forever home!

Sophie's foster mom believes that they do not need to be adopted out together, but it might be best if they go to a home where there will be another companion dog.

Sophie is super sweet, very loving, loves attention. Very friendly towards people she meets. Gets along great with other dogs, both male and female. Likes to go for walks, and walks well on a leash. She is crated when no one is home, and she goes right into the crate without hesitation.

They did wonderful meeting my dogs, no reaction at all, barely even sniffed them. Sophie was curious about my cat, but didn't really react, once she got by her she just sniffed her and walked away, and Tucker had no response to the cat. I have a 14 year old son, and Sophie loves him, she will follow him around and jump on his lap whenever he sits down, he adores her lol. My older daughter stopped over and just walked in the house like she always does, and they had no reaction to a new person walking in, just went up to her and she pet them and Sophie was kissing her hands, they didn't even bark. They take treats gently and as far as fosters go they have been perfect so far! ****

Meet Sophie and Tucker, both are 3 years old and came from the same family.

Sophie and Tucker were turned into a local shelter because their owners were moving. Because they came in together we want to place them together. We were told that they are bonded,

Sophie and Tucker both are on the large size and need to lose some weight. Sophie is 70 pounds and the vet recommends she get down to about 45 pounds. She also has a cherry eye which will be treated before adoption. Tucker is 97 pounds and the vet lists a target weight of 60 pounds. These babies need the green bean diet!

Sophie and Tucker are currently being vetted and kenneled in Columbus. They are in need of a foster/forever home!

All OBHR dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, checked for heart worm and on heart guard and flea preventative. If interested in one of our dogs please fill out an application at www.ohiobassetrescue.org today.
